Adventures in Rockridge
I don't know if this is even going to be coherent, but I feel the need to recount the events of tonight, because tonight was so fun!!!! I went to Donna's party in her new place in Rockridge (where old people live) with Greg, Jason, and Garett. When we reached the party, we noticed that there were a lot of old people there. Not old like me, but old like Donna, Garett, and stuff - you know 21, 22, etc. Greg and Jason observed to one another that they didn't feel like they belonged - "We aren't even declared yet!" I thought that was pretty damn funny!
As the night progressed, we began to feel more and more out of place. Another memorable quote from Jason was "You know you don't belong at a party when you see your GSI here!" I wanted him to pose with him for rohitsrealm.com but he refused. I was going to go chat with him but then cake and ice cream diverted me. Apparently it was one of Donna's roommate's birthdays last week too and they had cakes and carrots! Or carrot cake. Or something!
More people needed to come, so I started going down my cell phone address book and calling people, but then it was too loud to talk to anyone, and I don't even know who I was calling. Finally, midnight rolled around and we needed to roll out to catch the bus, but Donna was insisting that we stay, so Jason, Greg, and I broke into the coatroom, stole our coats, and ran away. But then we realized we didn't know where to run to, so Jason called Donna and told her Greg had took off running naked and we were chasing him! It wasn't true, but it was FUNNY! And now here's the best part: as we were walking down the street, suddenly out of a bush popped out a skunk We were freaked out and started running, but it chased us! So we ran across the street and finally found the bus and headed home.
As I was coming home, I ran into Tina with two of her residents coming from a frat party! What a loser! She may claim that this didn't happen, but I remember! After that, went to Jack's room and ran into Jack who went to Theatre Rice and saw Lauren who ditched me to hang out with her goons and then agreed to go to the library with Jack and then went outside to get rid of some trash, and then came home and ran into some of my residents, and then watched an episode of Friends and Smallville and then typed this up! Ok, that last sentence sounded like something out of an Ernest Hemingway novel, but think of it as a stylistic experiment rather than a vicious runon sentence! I'm too tired to fix it ...
