Year in Review, 2005
In our modern age of petty materialism and baseless superficiality, the holiday season for many is too often marked by long lines, pointless presents, and ostentatious overindulgence. For me, this time has always been a brief respite from the trials and tribulations of everyday life; a time to relax, reflect, and re-energize. It also represents an opportunity for me to take some time out of my busy schedule to reach out to friends and family -- something I do not do enough of during most of the year.
