Update from Amsterdam

Greetings from the Red Light District in Amsterdam, Netherlands, where I currently find myself. I only have 5 minutes left on my Internet Cafe ticket, so this one is going to be fast.

We did Belgium in three days: Brussels, Antwerp, and Bruges. To quickly summarize, Brussels was as I expected (Belgian waffles), but the question taht remains is whether children are forced to learn both French and Dutch? Antwerp was rather random; I don't necessarily know why we went there in retrospect. More on this later. Finally, Bruges was beautiful, though definitely the most unreal city I have visited in Europe.

Amsterdam has been awesome, and I'm not just saying that because of an (incidental) contact high. Tomorrow I leave for London and then it's back to SF on Wednesday. More on this trip as well as the 2006 year in review once I'm back in the States.
