Anxiously Awaiting The Weekend

Why am I anxious for the weekend? No big reason really. Pretty much nothing important planned for the three days off, but I just want to do nothing for awhile. I've been keeping up with work pretty well for the most part, and so I guess I want a small break to chill. Plus, this week's been pretty long in general—long days basically. I've been leaving at like 7:40 – 8 a.m. every day and not returning home at all until maybe 7 or 8 p.m., which is getting to be pretty strenuous. Nothing compared to the fun times last semester of course, but still I don't want to repeat last semester's physical and academic self-destruction. Been trying to sleep earlier, which has been definitely helping in terms of exhaustion. Getting to bed before 12:30 a.m. every weeknight of this semester has made the 8 a.m. classes more bearable. Also, the decrease in total hours of class and only having three 8 a.m. classes instead of five is also helping a lot! Work is picking up again in the last few days, because I want more money to buy some sweet new computer parts and stuff.

I just remembered! Another reason I want the weekend to come is so I can work more on my CalSO project. Last year, if any of you remember, I spent a lot of time doing the whole White Van Conspiracy thing, which turned out to be pretty fun and also interesting. I haven't had a chance to complete it and post it online, but I plan to do it this weekend. Anyway, so I'm thinking that every year I should do something big like this, which I invest most of my energy into. Inevitably it must be nerdy and or self-improving, so I become a better person. The White Van Conspiracy was awesome, so I guess that counts as my first year project.

This year is definitely going to be CalSO and documenting my change (or lack thereof) as a person. Plus, it gives me something to do besides work during the summer too. So spring is only the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. I also have some ideas for what I might do next year, but I'll keep those to myself until I'm ready to reveal them. So, yeah, that basically wraps up what's been going on with me for the last few weeks. Been pretty busy with school and all that, but nothing serious. I'm not too stressed yet, but midterms are only about a week away, and I have THREE in the same week, so that promises to be a stressful time. Hopefully everything turns out well.
